In search of the King...
"You know the story of the three Wisemen of the East but have you ever heard the story of the Other Wiseman who also saw the star in its rising and set out to find the newborn King?"
In December of 2009 Bible Actors Productions brought to life the classic story of THE OTHER WISEMAN! Director Daniel Hancock's original script is closely based on the 1896 short story by Henry Van Dyke with some new characters and extended chapters along the way!
Richard Freeland (Aidan the Nemrott, Bob Cratchit) leads the cast as Artaban, the other wiseman who sets out on a quest to follow the Christmas star to the birthplace of the King of kings. Matthew Thomas (Prince Callum, Ebenezer Scrooge) costars as Orantes, Artaban's reluctant servant. Also featuring the talents of Stephen Baker (Ghost of Christmas Present), Ethan Sims and Rebekah Richards, with many other colorful performances in this intriguing legend that begins in the Mountains of Persia, explores the far reaches of the known world, and searches the innermost thoughts of the heart of man.
